Thanks to COVID-19, the cruise industry has been in dock for much of 2020. As of this writing it is unknown when the bigger ships will return to the seas. When I heard that ships would be coming to Loreto, I was a bit surprised. This was documented in depth in a Washington Post article titled On Mexico’s Sea of Cortez, a voyage of discovery.

According to that article, ships with fewer than 250 passengers are not subject to the CDC’s no-sail order. Because the ship is smaller, it is able to go to locations that the big ships couldn’t. Of course there is no guarantee these sailings will happen, but I will list all of the dates currently planned. Note that these cruises have also been added to the Travel to Loreto cruise calendar.
