Small Ship Cruises Making Many Visits to Loreto

Safari Voyager Cruise Ship
October 19, 2020

Thanks to COVID-19, the cruise industry has been in dock for much of 2020. As of this writing it is unknown when the bigger ships will return to the seas. When I heard that ships would be coming to Loreto, I was a bit surprised. This was documented in depth in a Washington Post article titled On Mexico’s Sea of Cortez, a voyage of discovery.

According to that article, ships with fewer than 250 passengers are not subject to the CDC’s no-sail order. Because the ship is smaller, it is able to go to locations that the big ships couldn’t. For more information on the cruise and itinerary, visit the Baja’s Bounty page on the UnCruise Adventures site.

Of course there is no guarantee these sailings will happen, but I will list all of the dates currently planned. Note that these cruises have also been added to the Travel to Loreto cruise calendar.
